If this office closes it means that people will have to travel a minimum of 40 minutes to the nearest office. There are many individuals who do not drive or who would be unable to get to Blind River or Sault Ste Marie for the services provided, both French and English speaking. Frankly, the service provided is too valuable to shut down without an alternative in place. Doing so will hurt everyone much more than the lack of French.

We need the service and most people do not speak french, so closing it is absurd!

This office does not just serve Thessalon, but also Bruce Mines, Huron Shores, Plummer Additional, and surrounding areas. Keep this office open.

Without this office it will be a minimum of 110 km round trip to do business ! Ridiculous !

I work in a place that serves the public and being bilingual is not a job requirement as we have not run into language barrier issues only 1% of the time.

this is a very valuable service to our community. Most of the people between Thessalon and sault ste marie are English speaking. There is a bilingual office only a half hour away from Thessalon in Blind River. If someone is in need of a bilingual office they could certainly go there. If this office closes it would cause me personal hardship as I am a Commercial bussiness owner and need to visit this office every 3 months! We need this office to stay open!
