I've never been in OM, but still. It doesn't affect me, but it does affect the people that are related to anything about OM.

OM positively impacted my life while in elementary, middle and high school in so many ways and gave me some of the best friends and memories I have ever had. It would truly be a tragedy and a great loss if OM was removed from our school.

Why would a school district want to eliminate a historically successful program that promotes excellence in education?

So unfair -- anyone who wants to participate should be able to. Hope that change does not occur!

OM was one of my favorite things too do. And by cutting the teams too one per school. It limits students creativity, which is not something that makes your school look good. Also, we are hosting the regional competition. And only have three teams. All I’m saying is anyone reading this please sign the petition.

OM is a great program for any school and your school particularly has always been a strong competitor in all the events I’ve been to.

The BOE didn't chose to cut this. They lost $31,000 thousands of funding. Sports teams were affected by cutting scrimmages and games by half and having to then raise money for more. The Board also had to lose $100,000 in funding in order to send students to Appel Farm Charter School- no choice but to pay. The district is willing to allow more if fundraising happens just like sports team and other groups had to do. As a person who lives in the district I wish nothing had to be cut. But we have no choice. Also, I bet everyone who is passioante wuld be overly willing to donate and help your program!! Good Luck and I hope this amazing program can continue.

This is most ridiculous cut yet! There are so many people that would VOLUNTEER their time for this program to continue!

This program brings together kids with diverse skills/strengths and backgrounds. It builds so many amazing skills - confidence, critical thinking, creativity, speaking skills, logic, organizational skills, diplomacy, understanding of failure and perseverance, appreciation of differences and the opportunity to meet people from all over the world. Woodstown has consistently sent teams to World Finals. Why would this opportunity be limited?

OM has been a part of my life since I in elementary school. I would not have the friends, academics, or enjoyment that I had in high school without this club. Limiting the membership by this much is heartbreaking considering how amazing woodstown has done with teams at competitions.

OOTM was a good way to show our creativity and work on our team work. It will be so upsetting if they limit the teams, since OOTM was such a big part of our school year.

Sad to cut anything that promotes thinking. I am sure raises weren't passed up.
