My family and I have participated in derby’s and competitions for years. I’ve always had lots of fun and it’s not like we’re going out and shooting or catching endangered or protected species.

and they wonder why we have such a serious drug problem on the Island, they make everything illegal, I cant even fish off my kayak in Massapequa preserve without someone yelling at me like I'm dumping trash in the pond its insane

This is yet another attempt by our government to control guns, the food we eat and to try and over write freedoms guaranteed us by our constitution. If this trend continues I simply will not live in this state, every day I am more disgusted with a state I chose because of the vast wilderness of the Catskills and Adirondack regions plus out west is beautiful, I love New York but the laws and regulations our current governor and his cohorts keep trying to implement will force me to leave and I know I'm not the only one. Where will they be when good, honest, hardworking people leave? Another Detriot? Or maybe Venezuela...I urge our representatives to reconsider this ridiculous proposal!
