Words are mearelly leaves blown away by the wind and forgotten. Actions and deadfall are what people remember. It takes an alcoholic to hit bottom, to realize he has a problem. The same goes for a nation or state under a corrupt government to come out stronger than before. Obama▶️Trump. This bill if passed will go in the books and in a few years the cover will be closed ,forgotten lost in the coofferes of big government like most of them.

I disagree. It's terrible that it has come to this. Someday we will require skills that will aid in our survival.

Just another law making the sportsmen of this state want to leave. Trying to take our rights away for gun ownership and hunting by the government that runs this poor excuse for a state. Keep it up you are making my decision to leave easier everyday!!!

Do not pass this bill. Hunting is a tradition and an outlet for our youth to enjoy the outdoors instead of sitting in front of an iPad, playing video games or getting caught up in drug use and alcohol.

My son started hunting middle school with his buddies. We were not hunters. He is now 34 and these friendships are as strong as they were in middle school. He deer hunts, with bow and gun, duck hunts and fishes every season, much to his wife’s dismay! I truly believe it’s what kept him grounded and out of trouble as a teen.

These events bring folks together to enjoy New Yorks resources. Condemning these events serves no purpose.

As a New York State licensed Guide , my customers contribute thousands of dollars annually to our immediate local economy thru hotels motels restuarants supermarkets etc. we hold several competitions annually. Enacting this legislation will directly impact our economy and I just cannot understand the motivation or justification for it.

Some of my fondest memories with my kids are these contest. It is very sad it has come down to this. We should all stop buying hunting licenses, products and stop hunting for a few years completely. See how they like the loss of funding for state reserves, forests, parks etc and let everyone get over run with all these critters. Only then will they realize the true value of hunters.

Conservation and competive harvests are an amazing way to both help get more people into the hobby and help control and conserve the populations.

This tradition needs to continue. This is a sport for a lot of men and women.
