Too much, too fast without enough consideration of long-term impacts.

Look at Stamford, grew up there. Additions on every houses backyard. Streets lined with cars, no place to park. Downtown high rises, can’t tell what street you’re on. A zoning mess.

Put time and money into the arts and making our neighborhoods better. Not adding more people.

I oppose the rezoning of East Norwalk. The roads are already busy and falling apart, without the additional traffic and resource consumption. Listen to the families that live in these neighborhoods.

The proposed zoning changes are adding too much density and impacting family residential neighborhoods. So much of recent development has been charmless and ugly. The schools are also underfunded and the increased development further exacerbates this.

Connecticut may have a housing shortage, but Norwalk does not.

Does any one on the Norwalk P & Z live in East Norwalk? I oppose the up-zoning of family homes and any proposal by Mr. Kleppin that impacts East Norwalk.

I am particularly opposed to allowing East Avenue from I95 to Cemetary Street to have 3 1/2 stories as of right. While part of P&Z's recommendation for "upzoning changes" include more opportunities for home ownership, there are NO facts or stats that back this up.

Norwalk is fine the way it is. Do not change or add to East Norwalk.

You members of the Norwalk P&Z, appointed by the Democrat Mayor are overstepping your position.

Please preserve our neighborhoods. Doubling the density and increasing the one family residences to multiple families in addition to the proposed planning for East Avenue will make it impossible to move around on the roads.

Can the over development of east Norwalk stop so that our resources won't be overwhelmed. The residents and visitor's will benefit from less traffic and be safer when out and about. Thank you. Jk
