Too much too soon! There are already multiple multifamily projects that been approved and not yet under construction which means we don’t really know what our neighborhoods will look like in the near future. Voting to approve this measure at this time makes no sense. Stop and take a breath!

Postpone any further formal action on the Zoning Regulations Update. Conduct additional public forums instead and provide more easily understood information for the general public on how zone and building regulation changes will impact their property neighborhood.

Norwalk is overcrowded with to many apartments and to much traffic. Time to stop and time for a change from the top down. Zoning changes are supposed to help the tax paying residents not hurt them.

The up-zoning of Single Family Zones needs to stop! East Norwalk is already over crowded with heavy traffic and street parking a serious problem. This proposal will just make it worse!

This proposed zoning makes a mockery of all the hard work and years spent maintaining single family residences with small parcels of land. If you build a 2-family on these small properties, there’s no room for cars, and on my street you can’t park on street. So cars will be on grass in front yard which ruins a beautiful neighborhood for no reason. Zoning should be ashamed to put forth such a drastic and radical plan without understanding the neighborhoods and the already daily overcrowding on streets!

Please I Moved 30 years ago into my neighborhood because I love the single family home area. There is enough traffic already in our area which makes it hard to go on our walks and walk our dogs, enjoy our area, and even drive through the roads. The congestion that has grown over the past five years alone makes it very hard to enjoy the area like we used to. Please don’t make Bettswood area multi family. It would NOT be fair to us who have lived there 30 years plus!! Please allow us to enjoy our homes and beloved neighborhood.
