Despite being from South Yorkshire myself (Sheffield) I dread to think that somewhere so close to where I was born could be even contemplating doing something so unscientific and counterproductive as badger culling. Pleas don't...

Have we not yet learned this lesson, apart from the science telling us it does not work it is also an impractical solution as the recent culls have shown. Cruel and barbaric.

If you sign up to this just for a few penny's then be prepared for the consequence, you will be phased out with the rest of the scum, show some back bone and leave the badgers alone, we don't want them to keep moving the goal post's now do we

Defra are hig handed and lack full information on this subject. Do not let them impose their ignorance on our Residents & Badgers. Iw will be a 'green light' for some who have no business to be out killing our wildlife!

Please, listen to the scientists, listen to the people, the majority do not want this cull; we live in a democracy and this cull appears more to be the will of a dictatorship.

Humans spread TB. Let's cull them instead.

Culling just won't work and could exacerbate the bovine TB problem

Cruel and ineffective. If everyone stopped eating meat this sort of barbarism would not happen.

Culling is cruel and counterproductive. vaccination of badgers and proper control on transfer of farm animals is more effective.

As a keen observer of natural history and someone who regularly holidays in N Yorks I am opposed to the culling of badgers and would certainly boycott any area that supports this meaningless, scientifically questionable and inhumane response to Btb.

I am originally from North Yorkshire and I don't want to see this useless method being used, it was useless in Somerset and far better to take a different approach on Britains little bears.
