The North Wilkes Barre Little League will be holding a crucial parent’s meeting involving the possible merge with the South Wilkes Barre Little League. The Pennsylvania District Administrator Bob Bertoni will be attending our next league meeting on January 7, 2018 at 6pm in the basement of the Parsons Primitive Methodist Church. Mr. Bertoni is requesting that we merge our league with the South Wilkes Barre league. It is imperative that we show a united front and show our support for the North Wilkes Barre Little League and to send a clear message that we are against a merger.
We as parents need to understand what this means for our children:
- Further travel to practices and games.
- Less play time for our children.
- Poaching of the best players to stack teams.
- No longer being able to play with their friends or teammates.
Please mark your calendar and plan on attending this very important meeting.

I am very much against the merger. My child who is not a great player will get no play time and will learn nothing with the merger I am very leased with the way nwb runs and operate and the kids learn play and have fun. NO MERGER
Think this through! SPORTS ARE A BIG PART OF A CHILD'S DEVELOPMENT. PLEASE SAVE THIS PROGRAM

It's so disheartening to me what has happened to all of the Little League fields around our area!! Let's try and recrute more players rather than leave more fields empty
NWB is where my kids grew up playing ball. keep it local. no reason to force a merge on us when the league is doing fine on its own.
