I have been a north buffalo resident for 45 years. This library must be preserved. The alternative, demolishing it and replacing it with a suburban style structure is unacceptable to this community.

I have always thought this would be a wonderful site for a community based arts center- small shops, tutoring /after school space, classes. Please retain the architecture and green space for this part of our city!

I live in Kenmore but have deep emotional ties to this library. My mom grew up right by there and learned to read there. She would take us there when we were little to show us one of her favorite places. There could be many uses for this building that don't include a strip mall or parking lot.

Lets not tear down anymore beacons of self-learning and enjoyment.....libraries are where we develop our hunger for greater understanding and enrichment.

This was my library growing up in the 80's and living on Tennyson Ave. I would sneak behind the garages and run to the library. Magical for a 7 year old. When I went to Holy Spirit School this place was the library. Keep it something wonderful and preserve that corner so we can all remember the close knit community.

This place was a magical haven growing up. I spent many happy hours there growing up. It is an important part of the fabric of North Buffalo.

This library was the first I visited when I moved to the Parkside area in 2005. It is a gem and should remain in the community.

This site needs to not become another empty parking lot. My worst fear is a corner lot with some kind of chain store or fast food. The other 3 corners at this intersection are terrible. Preserve the integrity of the neighborhood.

Saving the Library is just good, common sense!

This is pretty much the one decent looking thing at this intersection. Everything else is generic and suburban, with seas of asphalt.

Of the four corners within the Delaware & Hertel intersection, 3 of them are congested with strip malls, chain fast-food restaurants and vacant, prairie-like parking lots. The corner in which the library stands is the only corner remaining with green space, benches, bike racks, trees, shade, and some relief from the carbon emissions that urban dwellers so desperately try to avoid.

I've lived in North Buffalo for most of my life and strongly believe that the library building should not be demolished. It's the only visually appealing space on that corner and needs to be preserved.
