Students and teachers who choose to go back should go back to in person learning. Teachers and students who don’t want to should do remote. All schools are open except CMS. Kids need to be in school. If schools won’t open, give $ back to parents so they can pay for private school, tutoring, or other alternative option. Thanks

This issue is close to our hearts. We have two children who suffered greatly in the last 10 months due to the lack of in person school. We have been forced to leave CMS for a private option that we cannot afford.

Please give us the choice(and then honor that decision) to get our kids back in the classroom a few days a week. The risk/reward ratio is completely weighed towards the reward and very little risk. That being said, our teachers also deserve to feel safe(we love them)

I have a high schooler on a 504 plan that is really struggling with sitting in her room staring at a chrome book all day long. We are being forced to look at private schools that are in person to meet her needs. This is very frustrating.

School is the only way for upward mobility; sports and the arts are their creative outlet .. save those for middle and high school students. Reconsider your vote!!

As a grandparent of a kindergarten student I am deeply concerned about the well of students made to learn at home . I see the daily effects it has on the children as I am caregiver to my 9 year old in Va and two other children . They tell me all the time how they miss the class room and friends. They don’t feel they are getting the education the deserve and don’t feel like they are retaining anything at all. Please reconsider for the sake of the children .

CMS has failed all students. Virtual learning does not work, especially for our youngest. Our children are suffering because of politically motivated choices of our school board.

Please help us families who desperately need our children back in school

STOP killing our children’s hearts and minds! Open the schools. If day cares , pre schools and private schools can do it so can you

Please provide in person learning option to those students and parents who chose in person (while maintaining full remote academy during Covid who chose remote) or provide us funds directly to families/ students who chose in person so they can spend for their education needs sin districts where in person learning is not happening!

Get our kids back in school
