We don’t need anymore high density housing, traffic is already bad. We need open space and recreational activities, like a golf course. Surf at the beach down the street!

Please don’t do this. As a new golfer it’s one of the few public courses in this area. It’s been a very inviting place and would love to see it stay in the neighborhood. There are some of the greatest beaches just a few miles away, surfers are happy with the waves and don’t feel like we need an artificial attraction to bring more people down here. The community appreciates the quiet golf course. Please don’t take this away for something so unnecessary as this.

I am apposed to development of the golf course into anything else than what it is. I have been a resident here for over 25 years and believe any development on golf course property will devalue my home and neighborhood. Protect my neighborhood and keep this project from moving forward. Thanks

I oppose this change! I use this golf facility multiple times a week and think it is very unnecessary to have a wave pool that close to the beach. Save Newport Beach golf course!
