This golf course is PERFECT for beginners and has a vibrant golf scene. It is so popular, you often need to go for a coffee/beer and come back to get a spot at the range. Please reconsider getting rid of this OC gem.

Absolutely no more housing needs to be added here. There’s already too much and this gold course is needed. You can tell how much it is used and loved by the availability. It’s always booked and a must have for the club house, pizza place, driving range, and walk on prices.

Develop elsewhere like Castaways park, or failing businesses and empty buildings along PCH north of Castaways. Leave municipal golf courses alone! Surf lagoon is cringe, kitsch and reckless unsustainable use of water! Southern California has the Pacific ocean, hello? You’re redistributing and eroding major amenities from the middle class. Take the driving range permit a tower and build virtual practice bays and reinvest into the golf course.
