I use the golf course practice tees every week and shop at the pro shop regularly. Steve is the best golf product advisor that I’ve ever used. The course is always busy and people of all walks of life use it. That’s not something that can be said of most of the entertainment venues in Newport Beach. Our City Council should spend more time and energy on providing needed services in our city and less on searching for new ways to help the rich get richer.

It would be a crime to tear out the existing front nine that has been there forever and turn it into a water park?? That’s ridiculous. Newport has miles of water parks, it’s called the Beach. This would be an eyesore for the community and should not be allowed to happen.

Unacceptable! This course is beloved and should be kept. I learned to golf here 25 years ago and I still enjoy the occasional round there. Save NBGC!

We do a tournament every year here. It’s a tradition that has been passed down for generations.

It seems absurd to put in artificial surfing so close to great REAL surfing. Seems like a ploy to just get more tall buildings crammed into NB.

We love our green space!!
Go away builders!! Is not that will be any affordable housing anyway.
Only reach people would be able to afford the new housing , and will cost the community more congestion and pollution to our back bay!!
Leave us alone!!
Take away San Joaquin Golf course, if you want to build more.

We use this public course and the driving range all the time. The restaurant is always busy and adds to the convenience. Not everyone can afford a country club membership.
