Inexpensive family golf course which is extremely hard to find in OC. Plus housing at the end of an active runway sounds like a stupid idea and a disaster in the making.

This is stupid. A wave pool 5 minutes from the beach? This golf course is the only affordable golf course within 10 square miles. A childhood favorite growing up in Newport. Keep it!!!

This is one of the best family friendly affordable courses for all players. Golf has gained popularity after covid with many courses booked weeks in advance.

Newport Beach golf course is a staple in the community. Plenty of surf spots up and down the coast. Don’t need one on the 73 in a residential area

45 year resident on Bayview Avenue at the end of old Mesa. Traffic exiting onto Mesa instinctively would use our street to bypass congestion using Birch to access Bristol's approach to Jamboree and 73 south.

I enjoy both surfing and golfing. Let’s focus on taking care of beaches (only a mile away) instead of building a man-made beach and removing an integral part of the community. This course is affordable, convenient, and a gathering place for both golfers and non-golfers of all ages/backgrounds alike.
