After 10 years of watching my son play baseball at Moody Park and Queen Park, we both enjoyed this past season playing in the stadium. Young players dream on playing in the stadium - it is by far the best baseball diamond in the lower mainland. If it is a possibilty to rebuild a diamond for baseball that is suitable, why not just build a soccer field instead and leave the stadium for community sports and events.

This field has been part of our family for many years and should be part of any future families living in New Westminster. Save the field!!

There are not enough baseball fields as it is, please find a solution to please both parties.

That field would be a sin to lose. You have already lost a PBL team because of all of this
The proposed changes look snazzy but AT WHAT COST? It sounds like the community is going to get stuck with the bill and the kids will get less field time.

Queens park is the best feild in the lower mainland. It Can not be torn down. Too much history. Please safe the feild.

The proposal to bring the Whitecaps USL team to New West does nothing for the City and only harms the sport of baseball. This move is counter to the Queen's Park Master Plan and makes a mockery of communtiy consultation in the development of park master plans

Queens Park Stadium is a GEM !!! ....By far the nicest "baseball stadium" in the lower mainland.....whitecaps would ruin the park and community atmosphere in which it stands for...What's wrong with the whitecaps div. 1 team playing at swangard stadium , burnaby lake, thunderbird stadium, richmonds minoru stadium ....the list goes on....Do not ruin a beautiful ballpark....maybe fix up an already existing soccer field !!!
I don't like baseball. but there are so many places to put a soccer field.
