For residents and holidaymakers alike, the cinema has been an imperative part of Pwllheli life for as long as I can remember and I will be 60 next month. I cannot believe you are even co sidering closing such an iconic, beautiful cinema. It should be listed as such. A little piece of history that still works. It ain't broke, so why fix it? PLEASE - let it be. Thank you.

I love going to the cinema here and to close it will be a huge loss for the community and the people who run it. Please do not close it

I have had so many hours enjoying films and performances here, I remember when there was no cinema and what an extraordinary difference it has made to the town

Where else will I be able to go and watch a film etc? Llandudno is 90 minutes drive away! Ridiculous to even think of closure!!!

It's a brilliant place for the kids with the nearest cinema etc being over an hour away. Maybe put on more things to raise money in order to be able to keep it open.

Cinemas should be treated with the same importance as leisure centres - sacrosanct. Whilst local authorities spend their diminishing budgets on housing benefit scroungers, Day Centres for junkies and other social pariahs it is little wonder there's no money left to support the Arts or other more widely socially important services.
