One of the few activities available for children and adults alike to do in the evenings. Somewhere you can actually plan to go for entertainment without having travel miles. It really would be a loss to the area.

We are regulars to Pwllheli Cinema, it's great to have a cinema so close to us that not only shows films but fantastic performances such as Nut Cracker Ballet that was live in Moscow theatre and Billy Elliot Live in London. Porthmadog cinema closed a few years ago and it would be a great loss to Pwllheli and the surrounding area if the same were to happen to Neuadd Dwyfor Pwllheli cinema. Please don't close it!

It's a holiday maker's local people necessity and relaxation. Why should we lose it. Think of people and employment and income. Our children and now grandchildren have enjoyed the venue. Don't make drastic mistakes.

Great facility that me and my family use in the summer, such a shame to close it and a further nail in the coffin for Welsh tourism

Nueadd Dwyfor is an integral part of the culture within Pwllheli. It offers a variety of events and is a well used venue for local productions of dance, musicals and bands. The rural area needs local cinema/theatre and its closure would mean that young people under 18 would lose the experience of attending films and theatre productions unaccompanied. It is impossible for anyone living west of Pwllheli to get to Caernarfon/ Bangor on public transport and to argue that The Galeri and Pontio would be to complete misjudge the needs of the 'local' community in Pwllheli. In addition there would be a number of individuals who would lose their jobs, in an area where there is already high unemployment and little or no permanent full-time vacancies.

A huge cultural resource for the surrounding area - not everyone can drive at night

Every effort must be made, involving the local community, to safeguard the long term future of this invaluable cultural facility - closure would be scandalous.

Please don't close this cinema. It is over an hour drive to the next cinema. It is important for tourism and residents.
