Save neighbourhood policing in London

Residents value neighbourhood policing more than any other function of the constabulary. The mayor was not elected to put residents at risk.

We need this service to feel safe in our community.

The role of PCSO's in reducing crime and anti-social behaviour is an extremely important one, especially in an area such as mine, which has a high crime rate. Plans to sack the PCSO's of London must be stopped.

We need to keep law enforcement on the streets. A visual impact on the streets will help deter crime and help keep communities safer.

Police numbers has already been reduced to the bare bone. Any further reduction will leave the City vulnerable.

It doesn't make sense spending all this money recruiting and training all these people just to pull the plug now.

We need more policing on streets not less.

Cannot think of anything worse than taking the PCSOs off the streets. Ours are dedicated, friendly and keep us well informed about local issues.

PCSOs are the only police we actually see on the beat. They make me feel much safer

We need the police at full strength taking into account the climate we are in regarding security, knife and gun crime which is on the increase. I want my grandchildren to grow up in an environment that they feel safe in.

Crime is on the increase. Police numbers should be increased accordingly.The government has a responsibility for the safety of it citizens.
