Snt are important local knowledge local power. Cutting Pcso will cut off all local partnerships with important parties, hard to reach groups. Hugh mistake to get rid of them. They are the only officers I ever see on the streets

we need our safer neibourhood team to keep down crime and anti social behaviour. do that now or problems will just get worse as young people get to know that there is no deterrent

Please consider keeping a time honoured tradition of our local, knowledgeable pc's and PCSO's, who work do hard, and at times endure so much

These PCSOs are useful, helpful and a vital part of police presence in local communities. I know for a fact that they reduce crime and disbanding would be wasting all the investment in training and the accumulated experience of each individual officer. Keep the PCSOs. An extra £5 on our council taxes to pay for them is worth much more than what we would lose.

Yet another stupid decision by people who are completely oblivious to the needs of local communities. Keep the PCSOs!!

Pls save our PCSO's as the community needs them for all the hard work they do for us

No more cutbacks, police are way over stretched, and it will seriously compromise there capability and presence

The streets definitely feel safer when the pcso's are around, it would be a shame to loose them.

This policy would have a disastrous affect on local communities. I support local policing and particularly the role PCSO's play in that.

Well done Mr Cameron I'm sure the last census should a large increase in the population. Best way to manage and support the ever growing community is take away the only support they have.

PCSOs and current neighbourhood police teams are cost effective and efficient. By scrapping them our neighbourhood will revert back to the unpleasant antisocial behaviour and repeated low level crime we experienced 10 years ago prior to their introduction.

Our ward's neighbourhood team, that helps police a neighbouring ward and is often used to police borough wide actions have time and again proved their worth in resolving neighbourhood problems, low level crime and antisocial behaviour. Life in my immediate neighbourhood improved beyond all expectations and now our streets are more safe and more pleasant, less worrying to live in. PCSOs and Neighbourhood policing strategies are cost effective and efficient. You are putting our day to day safety and security at risk.

We need more police and PCSOs on the streets, not less.

We need the pcos in Beckenham in order to keep a local police presence and reassure residents that they are safe.. They are needed, especially at the weekend, to maintain public order around closing time.

although you might be able to employ more police officers with the money saved these officers will be doing the work that the PCSO's do so it will not mean you have more officers on the street
