PCSOs are needed to support the communities and be approachable people to those in need, and also to support the pressured work the police officers are required to do

We need all PCSOs and neighbourhood policing to make sure all the good hard work they have done over the last 12 years is not wasted

There is very good work being carried out by our local PCSOs including help with the elderly against cold callers which is reassuring for the community

I am a Brent resident and object to the removal of any PCSOs or police resources for the borough of Brent. Brent has high crime levels and serious social problems that are well documented in police crime statistics and publicised by the counter terrorism team. We seek reassurance that existing resources will not be removed from Brent including any reduction in the number of PCSOs and police officers. In addition I now formerly request that additional resources be allocated to this multi-cultural borough that has diverse and complex crime patters that require skilled community engagement and policing on the streets to protect what is a vulnerable community.

Who's going to patrol the streets?

PCSO's play a very important part to the community... But keep their shifts when the community needs them! Ie not at 11pm... But during the day... It builds the trust up with the police!

The PCSOs are a wonderful group. As late as last night one saved my friend and I from a long walk, it was late in the evening. What happened was the bus driver did not stop at our bus stop and when I told him this he wouldn't let us off the bus but the lovely PCSOs sorted it out and the driver had to let us off. Oh my friend can't walk very far these days!

Hayes in Kent used to have trouble all the time at our station. Thank you to the PCSO's that stopped this and that is only one issue in hundreds that this special group of people have sorted for us. They patrol our streets and do the job that our old friendly coppers did. Brilliant. I do not see Police anymore but these friendly and approachable people more than than make up for it.

Further reductions will only be good news to criminals, and cause people to be concerned about increased threat of crime in their community.

This will be a disasterous move. Keep our PCSOs.

Who do they think will do the job the pcso does

This should not happen the residents need to know that there is a secure network within Hayes and not automated machines

The Police Commumity Support Officers (PCSOS) do a very valuable job keeping us safe in our local environment. Their very presence is a force for good.

Boris, scrap your plans to cut PCSOs. Tottenham needs our police officers.
