Tottenham's policing has been cut enough, these are silly proposals and our Mayor should be ashamed he was unaware of them. He needs to intervene

Harringay has benefitted a lot from PCSOs - it is unbelievable that this is even being considered.

Crime on our streets is getting worse and we don't see enough police in the streets as it is so to cut like this is the worst thing ever. We need more on our streets not less!

Consultation about what Londoners want within the funding envelope should be carried out. Funding isn't limitless but London erstwhile should have a choice on where their taxes go

These PCSOs are invaluable on the streets today. The police don't have time to deal with small incidents this is where the PCSOs come into their own. They work very closely with our town with the neighbourhood watch. Together we have managed to help and stop a number of petty crimes going on. Their presence has made our train station safer and have stopped groups of school children hanging around the high street. They used to be able to come into schools and talk to the kids which was fantastic and the kids loved it. That was stopped so please don't take them away permanently. I truly believe it would be a terrible mistake.

Community police are more often than not, people's first point of contact, as sometimes people feel that police officers are not always that approachable. I believe that cutting down numbers of community police officers will lead to an increase of low level crime, and vulnerable adults/ young people being victimised.

The numbers of police has dropped so much over the years, the pros are at least seen on the streets for people to talk to that's what communities need not just someone turning up after something has happened.

We need PCSO's the majority do a fantastic job. The public have no idea of how much work they take from police officers.

I think it's terrible that the want to take the bobbies if the streets of London. It will become like a lawless place. Also I have friends whos jobs are at risk from this ridiculous bill. We want London to become safer, not more dangerous.

The last thing we need is less protection on the streets. We should make cuts elsewhere not in police force (pcso's) Volunteers won't do the job properly, why would they going to be bullies with a power complex or old busy bodies who will protect no one! Completely Ludicrous.

Mistake getting rid of pcso's. Some of them are better and work harder than many police officers and they could be used a lot more than there restricted powers allow them to be! Give them more powers and more responsibility as the counties do =better value for money and free up police officer time.

It would be a great shame for the public's security if all of the PCSO's were cut
