We dont have enoigh officers in the streets already. We need PCSO's to make a differance to london and take the weight off PC's allowing them to do their job thoroughly. This will damage the Met Police and out public need pcso's to deal with community issues to fee up PC's

pcso's have an important role in neighbourhood policing, and free up time for warrented officers to concentrate on other areas of policing. Serious consideration needs to be made as this will change community policing and the vital link the police have with the community.

PCSO's are one of the best assets the met have. getting rid of them WILL increase crime aswel as reduce public confidence for the met ( which lets face it we at the minute it's at an all time LOW )

Any more cuts and the police in this country will be decimated and unable to carry out any real work.
Safer neighbourhood initiatives are pretty much mandatory and have been since the days of bobby on the beat when my parents were growing up.

areas as the Arnos park in our area and Grovelands Park are the short cut to the Underground Stations

Cutting PCSO’s is short sighted and misguided. PCSO’s are a fundamental part of neighbourhood policing who continue to build public confidence and good relations amongst communities. Once removed PCSO’s will be irreplaceable. This governments austerity cuts are unnecessary and damaging much needed public services. The public deserve the support and protection PCSO’s provide acting as an integral part of neighbourhood policing. Understanding communities and how they engage with the police are vital to public safety and should be a priority for any government. PCSO’s offer good value for money the idea of policing without them should be ringing alarm bells.

Please don't scrap neighbourhood policing. Our local shops were a no go zone till SNT's were brought in since the changes its slowly going back to how it was a burglaries have risen. Need I say more
