London needs police with local knowledge. Local police teams are doing a very important job that is going to be sorely missed. Axe these roles at your peril. Police officers are over worked and police community support officers are a vital link that should not be lost

Cutting cost by making people lose jobs will just add to another section raising unemployment again and more people on benefits

I think the cuts made to services that the public pay for are shameful. Our police and NHS service and being cut and cut yet my taxes are not going down..

PCSO's are the only police we see on our streets, lose them and crime will soar...!!!!!

Reducing police presence as well as visible presence will encourage more crime, more work for the present police force and more cost.

It would be a grave mistake to lose these officers who are an integral part of the community and have more insight into what is going on locally

The only visible presence on our streets a valuable link and a more valuable deterrent

We need them as they are an asset to the local community and with their presence it keeps local crime figures down

I think it's a bad move to get rid of police community support officers, they are the heart of all local communities and have build a trust between local residents and businesses which has a impact on day to day issues. This sends a big message to the local communities to help and support each other and support one another.

Pcso's are the backbone of community Policing. MPS are making the biggest knee jerk reaction to pressure i have ever seen.
