The pcso are more on the front line and do a fantastic job.
The met police have just built a fantastic relationship with all the neighbourhood watch schemes and built the trust of many that thought that pcso are worthless. By getting rid of the pcso you the met police will undo all the good work done by the dedicated pcso you have.
The pcso are a worthy ascent to have in this modern time policing and by getting rid of them would be the worse move ever.

I don't know what we would do without our local neighbourhood police.they make us feel safe in our housing estate and patrol the High St,Barkingside preventing crime with their presence.

The future of policing is at risk of becoming managed by volunteers to save government money.
Why aren't the government listening to the people of Britain?
How can public safety be a priority when police staff jobs are being axed ?
Save Psco's and police staff from future government cuts.

Neighbourhood policing is a vital role. PCSO's are the eyes and the ears of the community and should not be taken away to save cuts. If PCSO'S are cut it would be the worst choice and the only people that will suffer will be the communities and the rapport between the police and the members of public. PCSO'S are a vital asset and should be encouraged not cut!!!

More money should be spent on policing our streets, not less. The pcso's are the eyes and ears of local policing, they know the community and provide valuable assistance to police officers. The way policing is being cut, it won't be long before we have total lawlessness on our streets

Neighbourhood Policing has proven essential over the years it's been in place, without it Police will be going back to 80's style policing, but without the power to give someone a clip around the ear, now youths have no respect for officers, knowing that an officer can't touch them, without neighbourhood officers they stand no chance. There will be no local intelligence, no bridges between the Police and communities leaving police fighting crime in the dark!

we need PCSO,S they are a vitel part of neighbourhood policing
They are the eyes and the ears visiting victims and reassuring them. The Mayer has to rethink what he is about to destroy . Don't take them away . Let the community decide
