PCSO'S help to give the neighbourhood a sense of security. They keep crime down. A friend to old and young alike. There has been big cuts to their numbers already. The public should not and cannot cut crime and the fear of crime on their own.

Our PCSO (Sue Sullivan) has been so helpful to us, trying to help prevent burglaries. I seriously think that the community benefits from having PCSO's in the area. Please do not make extra cuts.

We need a presence on our streets to deter crime. If it's not police officers then we need the PCSO's or anarchy and lawlessness will prevail.

Our PCSO, Dante Agonoy has improved residents' security at the grass roots level immeasurably - he has done far more than Neighbourhood Watch can ever do

The place where we live in Romford has had an increase in vandalisam and other crimes, a local PCSO regularly patrols our avenue which gives us a sence of security and that we are,as of the older generation, are not forgotton. Our Neighbourhood Watch is a good one has we all look out for each other re being observant and reporting any suspicious behaviour etc. The PCSO's are vital in preventing and detecting by reporting to other police officers things that need action. It would be a falase econamy to reduce or worse still remove the PCSO from our streets.

Our local PCSO for Hylands Ward, Damien Williams, passionately tackles crime in the neighbourhood and would be sorely missed, to the detriment of our area, if made redundant or reassigned.

I appreciate that these special officers have volunteered their services, but their contribution to community safety and order is invaluable. I am against their removal.

What the Government are doing is tying the hands, legs and feet of the police together and expecting them to deal with crime. This is insane. Shutting Police stations, leaving no where for police to do their work. deal with arrests, interviews, interrogations etc.
Madness.
