To axe all of London's neighbourhood PCSOs would be a disaster. Crime on the streets will rise, mainly caused by youths, and more PCSOs need to be guarding the surrounding areas of estates situated across London. People will feel safer knowing that there is police on our streets.

To axe uniformed officers on the streets would be a terrifying thought for the young and the elderly. The crime and drugs in Enfield is vastly escalating and we are badly in need of extra policing on the streets, none of us want to become prisoners in our own home.
and that's surely would be the case!.

We were told police on the streets was essential for crime prevention by all political parties, now it seems to save money this is not a priority, my family and I do not feel safe on the street now, and we strongly disagree with this decision.

For a government so obsessed with "security", this proposal from London's mayor and "one of their own" brings their commitment into question; if they are willing to compromise the safety of their own citizens in this extreme manner.

To reduce funding for the Met Police is foolish in the extreme.
In addition Mr Mayor, our PCSO's are a valuable asset for communications between neighbourhoods and the Police. I am appalled that this move to take them away completely is even being considered. Policing is completely different over such a wide area, from inner London to the outer suburbs. Do not undo the EXCELLENT work our PCSO'S have done over the past 10 years or so in the outer suburbs.

It never ceases to amaze me that with all the people that are coming into our country and not all are good citizens, and to add to all the other problems we face we are new facing few police on or streets. The bad people for the want of a better word already know that it takes time for the police to get to a call of non emergency let alone all the other crimes we are to have more crime, which is ok if you are lucky to have full police protection, which most of us do not so tge message is to criminals is come and do your worst the police will not get here for hours if not day.

The safety and security of London residents and visitors is of paramount importance and taking police and PCSOs is a shortsighted and foolish action. I oppose such a move.
