The loss of PCSO's plus the met police's inability to motivate all the volunteers it is now dependent on will mean an absolute disaster if this happens.

With the spate of Burglaries in the area it is important to have officers seen on the streets.

Feel safer knowing there is a police presence in the area and to physically see them walking the streets and recognising them... They have also been there to give advice when needed.

This is the best way to put the house bound at risk, this silly talk must stop. We expect to be kept safe in Havering. . I can arrange a slot at a Forum meeting so any plans can be discussed. We are the biggest group of the biggest group of residents who vote, so I look forward to anybody who wishes to come along to try and justify this silliness.

Our local PCSO's are very proactive in advising of local crime issues. Their visibility also helps. Forewarned is forearmed.

These PCSOs are our only link to officialdom. They must continue and keep being seen on our streets. I feel safer when I know that they are around and at the end of a telephone if I have a problem as an elderly person.

In South Richmond our local SNTeam is a very important part of our Neighbourhood Watch and we could not do without them.
