We need to see more pcsos not less. They not only police the area but are closer to the community and are able to build on community trust.

Save them never see a policeman when needed, but these guys,are always around and willing to help, also good to have,a presence on the streets .

This is false economy and would cost far more than we save in A & E through fights/disturbances/robberies etc. We cannot have a decent society without such people on our streets.

I run a business in an area of East London which sadly is rife with crime and burglaries. Community Support Officers and uniformed officers presence is vitally important to keep crime down.

I think most people are now sick of continued cost savings in favour of peoples safety.
