we need our support officers, they help so much in communication with public, also do a lot for NHW Coordinators that is needed. After riots in croydon they did so much to bring the community back without them I think this would be so much different.please do not let our support officers go

The first responsibility of a Government is to protect its citizens. Closing our local Police stations and cutting community Police can only lead to higher crime.

PCSO's are a wonderful support for the public and need to be kept - whatever the cost. Find another way to save money!

These proposals will seriously impact upon local crime and cause delays in response. They are deplorable proposals. I would rather that the policing precept in local rates were increased to pay for the PCSOs

Our PCSOs due a great job and these cuts just do not make sense. Is the aim to make things even easier for the criminal fraternity?

We need more PCSOs and protection on our streets, not cuts! Our neighbourhood Police do a great job in keeping us advised of all activity and are always around when we need their help. Less Police results in more crime, which we do not need!

The local PCSO's are an intergral part of the community nad locally we have in conjunction with the local officers introduced Street Watch We need and rely on the local the relationship with the local police to provide a feeling of safety with an aging society. As chairman of the resident's for all the Havering Council Sheltered Housing schemes it incumbent on the safety of all elderly to see a presence of policing and to kept involved with the patrolling and crime prevention methods. Whilst being made aware of all local incidents and the need to keep support the policing with relevant suspicious activities. Paul Clark

The uniformed officers in our part of London do a difficult job really well. They are aware, excellent in dealing with the public, reassuring and a strong deterrent to petty crime - and also more serious crime. We cannot do without them.

Volunteers can only do so much. Since the early '90's all every governing bodies have done is Sell-Off their assets as well as spending the taxed income. For Once, cutting is not a solution. What else will you put cuts on? Time taxes went up in line to keep up the good services expected from you.
