Neighbourhood policing is valued in the local community and would be greatly missed.

Damien Williams has been the local PCSO for many years and would would be greatly missed in the area for all his hard work and personality if his job and others were axed.

SNT Officers are a valuable tool, they link in with the public and police. Who else will look out for the vulnerable on the wards?
PCSO's interact with schools and youth clubs building positive relationships with the youths an action which often goes unnoticed

At the very least, we should retain the dedicated ward PCSO - they are worth their weight in gold!

PCSOS are an important part of the Police and the Community. It will be wrong to lose them around the neighbourhood.

I am the manager of supported accommodation for people with mental health issues in Enfield Town. I have found the neighbourhood PCSO in this area to be of vital importance to our service users.
For example, when our vulnerable tenants are out in the community the local PCSO knows them individually and gives them guidance and advice along with keeping our office informed if they are considered a risk to themselves or a member of public.
With more cuts in NHS admissions to mental health units more people are discharged into independent rooms and flats, often with no support. In recent years its a well known fact that the police and more often the PCSOs are the main carers for thes vulnerable.

Please reconsider these cuts. A bobby one the beat of any degree must be an advantage and encourage public safety especially in these days of increased terrorist threats.
