Its crazy and unjust to get rid of the role of Police Community Support Officer. The only officers that are visible on the streetsof london for the past few years are the psco,s. Do not get rid of them.

The neighbourhood pcso's are few in number as it is, and to remove all existing ones would be of real concern to the neighbourhoods they serve.

This is not making our streets safer by making these people lose their jobs! With less police to help support and protect us we will become more vulnerable

I am very concerned about the likely impact of further substantial cuts in the MPS budget. In particular I am concerned about the effect on Safer Neighbourhood Teams. SNT's in Havering have worked very hard in recent years to reduce crime locally and make our streets safer. Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) have played a vitally important part in achieving those gains. I have personally been very impressed with the dedication to duty and professional approach shown by PCSOs that I have met and had interactions with. If PCSOs disappear altogether or are substantially reduced in number this will inevitably have a severely negative impact on the effectiveness of the MPS, and the level of service that it is able to deliver. If the MPS suffers further substantial budget cuts, as has been predicted, no matter how these cuts are implemented this will certainly have a damaging effect on its ability to provide the service that we all want and expect. My fear is that the proposed budget cuts will mean that all the hard-won gains of recent years will be lost.

I strongly disagree with this in my opinion they do work very hard for community ,and they should be able to make as feel safer as they do at the moment.
Thanks

I really value our Safer neighbourhood team. They have worked hard to create community in places where there has been trauma, death and mistrust. They are also working hard with us on the Ward Panel to create something solid in our community, Please value them and keep them here. They have been very resilient in the face of constant changes. It would devastate our ward if they were not there.

The streets of London will not be safe if ALL of London's neighbourhood PCSOs are axed. It is bad enough now that there are 5,000 plus fewer uniformed officers on the streets. This government/Mayor of London does not have a clue !! How many knife crimes will there be when there are NO uniformed officers or Neighbourhood teams?

Without our neighbourhood police force, our streets will not be safe - our homes, our vehicles and our children will be pray to criminals lurking on every corner. The presence of the "bobby" deters crime and makes a valuable contribution to the local community.
A valuable service to the communities will be lost if this goes ahead.
