How can London's PCSOs be axed? This would leave our streets unsafe and leave us unprotected, without PCSOs crime would escalate beyond all imagination. Without PCSOs there would be more gang warfare, burglaries and life would be unbearable. We would be scared to venture outdoors. PSCOs are aware of all local problems and can nip them in the bud before they get out of hand,

Camden has hardly any PSCO's. Paul from the Kings Cross SNT is so nice. If PSCO's could stop and fine blue badge abusers across the borough, then there would be more than enough revenue raised to fund them.

This is crazy! We need more, not less police on the streets! Axing PCSOs will put a massive strain on remaining Police and enable an increase in criminal activities.

The two PCSO's Harish Shah, and Paul Kingsmill have in our area done a fabulous job in keeping the streets of Brentford and Chiswick safe. They are just two examples of the fantastic job that PCSO's do.
Please don't destroy the hard work that has been put in over the years.

It is disastrous decision to remove PDSOs from our street.I live in hornchurch essex, the police station has been closed all but for 2 hours per week(irrelevant hours)crime has increased dematically, and we do not feel safe now in this neighbourhood. Our PDSO is very good and does live in the area.no policing buy pdso gives the criminals a free hand to carry out crime in the knowledge they are very very unlikely to be caught.WE THEN ENTER THE REALMS OF A SCARRED SOCIETY AND VIGILANTY GROUPS TO PROTECT US.please do not remove PDSOs from our street and bring back and open up our police station.we need a return to street policing urgently to avoid a very very dangerous situation happening.please do not go down this thought road, policing in the hole of england in imperative to a calm and peaceful society.

I am absolutely disgusted with the government's proposals to cut our PCSO's .
Our PCSO's Harish Shah and Paul Kingsmill have been working non stop and providing excellent reassurance and high visability patrolling in the streets of Chiswick and Brentford. These are just two examples of the thousand that are still patrolling and keeping the streets of London safe.

PCSOs provide an invaluable front-line service. They prevent crime and reduce the workload of other officers. This will cost money, not save it.

PCSOs and police are essential for a safer neighbourhood, Losing PCSOs would mean even less visible policing than we have now.

Police numbers have been slashed, leaving communities vulnerable and removing the link between residents and their local police teams. The police are now at odds with the government.

Members of the public complain that they dont see police on the streets any more, even though there is now a record high 32,000 police officers employed by the MET. How is this?.......
A Lot less PCSOs employued by the MET. The public would only see PCSOs on the streets and if the decision is made to remove all PCSOs then the public simply would not see any police presents on the street.

This is another awful and pointless cut that will only benefit crime and as we have had some dreadful murders already. I fear it will maker people more unsafe on the streets.

As the manager of sheltered housing I & the tenants here have found the presence of community Police at coffee mornings and around the area very beneficial.
They have advised older people here about security and provided more vunerable tenants with items to hang on their bags so that they will know immediatly if the zip is being tampered with, they have also provided invaluable victim support to some customers after crime.
The customers and myself often see the regular faces of our CPSO's and are able to discuss concerns about the area we work & live in.

The publics safety is paramount if keeping police and PCSO means higher community charges and higher taxes then so be it.
