To see the presence of uniformed officers on the streets, is the only way to stop crime and keep the community safe.

Because of our local PCSOs my daughter is growing up with a healthy respect and appreciation for the Police force. Take this away and there is a void. A void that can be filled with distrust and fear. The ripple effect of goodwill that comes from PCSOs is a priceless asset, it helps communities feel confident and helps us understand our own responsibilities and powers and feel secure in them. Please don't outsource our policing.

We have not enough police as it is, its disgusting that the government threaten police cuts every time england are setting up to send our troops out to war. Why should we suffer national service cuts when army is fighting abroad for another nation, with no visible benefits to us, if our soldiers were in our country we would have a great police force.

I have no doubt by cutting neighbourhood policing it will end up costing more in the long run, another short sighted decision.

Please keep our PCSOs. The crime rate in our neighborhood has increased significantly and visibly over the last year. We know cuts have already bean made and further reduction of the police force would have dire and irreversible consequences for all members of our community. Many Thanks!

PCSOs represents a popular uniform presence, provide the backbone to community policing and to lose them now would be a backward step for local communities and their trusting relationship with the police.

Hopefully Boris will reconsider.
We need as much Police presence possible whether PCSOs or otherwise.
Cost effective in cutting crime and the subsequent more paperwork and court costs after the crime has happened.
It is essential to have local policing
