The PCSOs are a very important part of our community and do a very good job. As far as I am concerned there should be far more of them.

Please dont cut our vital local policing. Our community manages huge numbers of commuters, tourists and the homeless. We need our local police.

PCSO are more important for the Police in order to get the intel info for the main officers from the communities since they sound more time with the public. To remove PCSO be like going backwards to old days of Beat Officer which people never met. Having PCSO for cost purpose is like a bargain half price but the work done is massive.

Our local PCSOs do a phenomenal job and create a much safer environment for us all. I struggle to believe that anyone is considering taking this away and feel sure that we would all be far worse off without them. This plan needs to be abandoned immediately for the safety of our families, homes and neighbourhoods.

We need our police (and all emergency services/public sector workers) more than ever. It's imperative that we don't lose any more police. Despite figures, we all know that crime is rife and criminals are getting away with too much already. To reduce police on the streets is asking for trouble.

These people are so important on our streets acting as a visual deterrent to crime, liaseing with communities and giving people a lead into the police force they must not be cut, we need more police on the streets not less.

Neighbourhood policing works and the PCSO's are an integral part of that. Cutting the PCSO's and having the police concentrating solely on crime with no resorces on community engagement would be a massive mistake, losing the intelligence gained from the local community and leaving the police and community further apart, a recipe for future problems.

PCSO's form a very important part of front line policing. They provide a priceless service to victims of crime and the vulnerable. All local residents will no longer have a friendly point of contact for the Metropolitan Police to provide support at the times when they need it most. Please sign this petition.
