The thin Blue Line seems to get ever thinner. There are some standards that should be maintained regardless of cost, Policing is one of them.

We certainly need PCSOs and although Richmond is relatively crime free we do need to see a PCSO walking round. Less police presence means more crime

We need MORE PCSOs to safeguard our communities, not less or NONE!
Consultation is also the key.

We really need to keep the policing in Perivale. The area has got a lot worse in regards to anti social behaviour and the area feel very unsafe with drunk people on the roads and urinating. Especially around the Tesco area and by Busy Bess nursery path way

The consistent pressure on resources for public services is have a detrimental affect on the ives of this who live and work in London. THE PCSOs provide an invaluable service through their commitment and dedication and the mayors plan to remove funding for these valuable community officers is a disgrace

It seems to me there is already far too much for the police to adequately cover. One is already aware of a feeling of lawlessness in some areas which can only get worse if there is no chance of prosecution.

I live in Richmond and have found our local PCSO Jonathan Harrison extremely helpful in setting up our local neighbourhood watch group. We would all feel much less secure if we were to loose these friendly officers who provide a vital direct link to the police.
its essential the pcso's are kept. the public NEED them,
so for once the Tories should listen to the public....

Very short sighted plan. Particularly in our area of high drug crime. A very valuable service which we should not lose.

I am feeling very unhappy that the Mayor is planning the cut in PCSOs in Richmond and surrounding boroughs!
I feel it would not have been possible to come through my recent burglary without the support of Jonathan Harrison PCSO and his colleagues. They have given me every support and kindness and without their help after my trauma I would have felt more nervous, afraid and unhappy living alone. I have lived in my home for the past 27 years and feel that crime in this and surrounding areas of Richmond is on the increase. I am a pensioner age 76 years and rely on their support as I have no immmediate family in or around Richmond.
Also PCSO Jonathan Harrison has supported me and advised me on safeguarding my home and pointed out the vunerable areas which didn't occur to me. I am eternally grateful for his help and continued help. I have to say he always replies to every email I send with a positive reply. Thank you.

The cut in visible policemen and now potentially PCSOs will undoubtedly result in the rise of crime.

Very important to keep police on the streets, the government should prioritize this over buying 4 submarines!

This is an invaluable service. It would be detrimental to the community if this service was axed.

We need our PCSO's on our streets. Get rid of any ideas of axing them
