My brother and I both started our boxing career at this great club, I was 11 years old. It would be a travesty to see this club disappear.. Ernie Holt is a credit to the sport.

This club has been doing wonderful work for its community for many years. My son has trained here for 12 years. It's such a shame that the council wants to sell up, they seem hell bent on taking away everything that is good just for profit. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Keep this place open it has been in this community for over 50 years it would be a shame for it to close down what will happen to the kids there they will start to become in gang and commit crime so , keep it open for children sake and for everyone sake

The gym provides an opportunity for the local community to enhance on natural talents and skills.
It also provided a safe learning friendly environment for many youngsters and adults alike.
Closure of the gym would be bad for the community

Please save this club as the kids need it and it keeps them of the streets. It is a major part in their development into adulthood as it teaches them discipline and maturity

It would be a shame to see something that keeps the kids in the community work together and get fit together be shut down and not given anything else in its replacement , which I could see as becoming a crime hot spot for children bored or nothing to do
