it keeps youngsters off the streets and learns them discipline plus the staff are a great bunch of people

This is very important that this gym stays open it helps so many people young and old l know first hand the team that runs it for over 30 years and that are still there helping and getting the results of some fine boxers so please keep this gym open .

I feel that the closure would have significant negative effect on the community. Over the years the club has gave the younger generation direction and meaning while growing up. It gives so much more than just training in a sport, it teaches values, respect and team work.

I know Nechells very well & have seen how easy it is for the youth to get involved in drugs, gangs etc... Please keep Nechells Amateur Boxing Gym open as it is a positive option to learn discipline & self worth.

This is heartbreaking news. This gym has quite literally changed peoples lives. This really must not be allowed to go :(
