In short, for aesthetic and historical reasons, for the benefit of Natick residents and all who visit Natick, the Natick Dam should be maintained and preserved.

It would be horrible to loose an historic bridge in an historic district. It is what makes South Natick an iconic spot for all to visit, contemplate and rejuvenate the soul.

Preserving historical structures is important in New England. Just because they are old, they are not "tear downs." They are history. For example, tourism is an important industry in Vermont. People visit Vermont because of its charm with preserved covered bridges and bed and breakfasts. People want to see something that is signature New England, not another New York City. It is the same in Massachusetts. A stone bridge in Natick is signature Massachusetts from 100 years ago, a reminder of the stone cutters who built that and the many stone walls we see here.

Stop so much construction. Soon there will be no more green fields, beautiful streams, lots of trees gone to keep our air fresh. Just more and more condos that are being built higher and higher so that’s all you see. SAVE THE DAM AND OUR SWEET HOMETOWN!! There is enough cities around us . STOP NIW BEFORE ITS TOO LATE!
