My father, a WWII Navy veteran loved boats, but never had the time nor the funds to enjoy boating in civilian life. Shortly before he died, I took him for a canoe ride on the Charles River, helping him in his recently acquired instability get in and out at near the Natick dam. We had a taut relationship, but I remember that our last, best bonding experience.

Our kids fish at the waterfall. We enjoy picnics there. The sound of the falling water is instantly calming, reassuring and grounding. Please don’t take that away from us. Something needs to change to stave off potential flooding issues, yes. But please, please let us keep our beautiful waterfall. Thanks for reading.

This is a precious natural landmark where families and generations have found zen and peace for ages. It’s locations like this one that keep humans sane. Please don’t take away our sanity.

This is the most special place in all of Natick. I got Engaged at these falls because my now husband knew how special this place was to me. Everyone i know has fond memories at the falls. Don’t ruin the beauty and memories for future generations because the town doesn’t want to spend the money now. That would be a terrible mistake and ruin one of the only landmarks Natick has.

When our children were toddlers we spent many hours at the Dam, sitting on a blanket, watching the water flow and having a snack.
Save the dam!
This is a beloved landmark.
