You’re taking our nation, leave us at least with our local pleasures.

We have trees, but we only have 1 dam.

Most beautiful spot in Natick will be decimated.

Save the Dam! So many memories there, and future memories to create!

It's a beautiful attraction in South Natick that inspires me to pause and admire every time I'm in the area. It would be a tragedy if removed.

My favorite place in Natick, I visit it every week.

I grew up in Natick and spent many I grew up in Natick and spent many happy hours fishing just below the South Natick Dam. It is always been a favorite place for people to come and relax, eat their lunch and just listen to the water going over the dam. What I want to know is if you take the damn out How will that affect How will that affect The estuaries and wetlands further up river. Also how will it affect the homes below the dam after a severe storm. It’s my personal opinion That it would be a travesty to remove this wonderful part of Natick history.

I grew up with that dam. My husbands family are just a tad away on Schaller St… and years gone by other streets too!!! It’s far more than just memories to the generations after world war II…. It is a staple of south natick!!! Move the trees to safer places and save the dam too. We iz schmatt enuf to du bot!!!

My mother a longtime resident of Natick (50+ years), absolutely loved going to visit the dam. It would be a shame to have this treasure destroyed.

I have lived in Natick for almost 15 years now. This was a spot to spend time with friends, practice (poor) fishing skills), and just enjoy nature. Not only would dam removal cost the town millions (which could be money allocated to more important issues like the budget for education) but it would remove an absolutely beautiful landmark that holds memories for many!

I am heartbroken to hear about the possible dam removal. I raised my daughters taking walks down Glen street to the South Natick falls. It is a beautiful area. The area is so highly spoken about by people from all over when they come to visit our home. It is a landmark, with rich history, and it would be a shame to see it be removed.

I have lived in south natick for 30 years. I have raised my two daughters here. When choosing a location to build a home for our family, the area of the south natick falls was one of the reasons I chose to build in natick. If the dam is removed, the uniqueness of this historic area will be tarnished. I would hate to see it go, because I know this area has moved other people to reside in South Natick as well.

Please save the dam!

I am 25, and I grew up in Natick. I am heartbroken to hear about the possible dam removal. This holds so much nostalgic memories as a child, as I know it does for many others I grew up with. I live out of state now, but I come home often- and I bring friends home with me from other states. Every single person I have brought home to my hometown comments on how beautiful the “south natick falls” are. It would take away from the beauty of our historic area if the dam were to be removed.

The portion of the Charles River as it flows through Natick is a wonderful part of our town, culminating in the beauty of the basin at the dam and the spillwater. It attracts so much wildlife as well as people. The dam area is a beautiful area and destroying it by taking out the dam is when it can be repaired. The historical significance of the dam should be enough reason on it's own to repair it, instead of removal.

Many hours spent here! It should be recognized as a historic site...

I think it would change one of the most attractive spots in Natick if we eliminate this damn.

This area is beautiful, the river is a recreational gem.
