As a Medfield resident who has lived near this iconic landmark for 32 years, I would urge the committee to invest in the beauty of their town. The park brings people from all over. Grabbing a coffee and walking is always peaceful. Save the dam!

This would be a shame to remove this scenic spot in the center of South Natick. Why would you do this?

It is in Natick’s long term best interests to save the dam. The current landscape is beautiful and provides excellent habitats for s variety of plants and animals. It is not really known at this point what the replacement will look like; funding has not been secured so nothing is guaranteed.

“The dam” is the quintessential image of Natick. Hard to believe the town would not decide and invest whatever it needs to, to preserve this cultural, historical and picturesque corner of town. We must find the way to save the dam.

We choose Natick as our new home based on online research from out-of-state and pictures of the dam and surrounding area added weight to our choice. Please bring it into compliance so it can continue to be one of the gems of Natick.
