Please leave what mother nature intended to be her beautification project... trim back the trees and leave the dam unearthed. It will restore itself to exist another 100+ year's. Trust and believe!

Has anyone noticed that, from the beginning, the town has been pro-removal regarding the dam and has been glaringly NON-TRANSPARENT about the entire process? The public “process” (meetings) are all on Zoom and tightly controlled by the moderator from Consensus Builders, the firm hired by the town. We are limited to 3 minutes to speak IF we are allowed/called upon and there is no discourse permitted. We are told we can communicate with individual committee members, however they do not provide any emails or phone numbers to enable us to reach them. All communication must go through the moderator, who is clearly pro-removal. The people of Natick want to meet face to face and be given the opportunity to be heard. By the way there is no “consensus”, in fact most Natick residents have just recently heard about this debate.

This DAM should NOT be removed!
It would be a determent to nature NOT a saving method.

This is truly a heart wrenching situation. That dam is a little sanctuary for wildlife and humans. As a kayaker, I would be devastated to lose this part of the River. Please don’t do it!

Beautiful! Please save! Healthy Oxygenated water results from the dam. Please just improve fish ladder.
