Save the dam!

I have lived near the Charles River Dam for most of my life, and I can say firsthand how much it would affect the town of Natick. Being able to go to the falls and just have a place to hang out is something that is irreplaceable. To lose it would change South Natick and the town in a negative way forever.

Destroying beauty. What we have we know, what we get we may regret.

Absolutely against removing this dam!! It’s what makes Natick a quaint little town. The sound of the water flowing over the dam is relaxing and soothing safe space to calm residents.

The Falls are one of the most beautiful parts of Natick, not just South Natick. It is a special place, one that should not be destroyed. Destroying the ecosystem, a destination spot for families, weddings and tourists, and support for local businesses in the area is contrary to everything we are trying to do in the country. Promote the beauty, treat it like the treasure that it is. Save the Dam!

The Dam is an essential part of not only the ecosystem, but the community and history of South Natick There are plenty of tree-lined parks. There is nothing special like this in the area. It would be very sad to destroy the Dam.

Destroying the dam is an extremely poor move. It not only effects the pleasures people get from picnicing and canoeing but it will have a greater impact on all the diverse flora and fauna upstream. We've already destroyed enough of our habitats with mosquito spraying!!!!! I grew up on Woodland St. and return to this historic area often. It's historic and brings peace and joy! Don't be foolish!
