Even though I live in NZ I originate from Cross-Gates these small rural schools are often the heart of a community and many friends and friends children have been through Nantmel. Don't break the link to a chain that for many families is their life line to social gatherings and support

Awful that Powys want to shut another school... With the right leadership and support Nantmel could be an outstanding school offering amazing opportunities that other schools are unable to!

This is our children's school and the friendships here could never be replaced.
Closing this school would effect the children's psychological well being and cause extreme distress.
This is a very close knit family and community run school and should be treasured not closed
