please save Wallace's garden. There is no need for the destruction of this beautiful sanctuary space. It adds so much beauty to the property and neighborhood. He has worked everyday to develop the garden over 3o years please don't destroy it for no good reason.

I also have a hard time believing the landlords have a problem with the garden, which is a Bay Area treasure. Could it be that they have a problem with rent control?

Alwyn's garden greatly enhances his Berkeley neighborhood. The exotic plants are a delight to behold. Always well maintained, the garden is a gift to all. Please, please, let the garden grow!

Some acts far exceed the "simple" thing they appear to do: Alwyn's garden is a joy and blessing for every passerby. Each time I approach or walk by, it is such a wonder. But note, please, that Alwyn has always *scrupulously* maintained respect for the neighbors' needs. All have full use of the sidewalks and contingent areas. We aren't encumbered in the slightest! These exquisite plantings have been maintained by a master of master gardeners,. one who's lovingly tended this garden for a decades, and who is very much at the apex of industry skills for horticuluture. But more, Alwyn seems to do this as "seva", putting his skills and lifelong passion out for all. Whatever innocuous-seeming grievance his landlords claim against Alwyn simply can't be what it appears to be -- not to anyone who's stood there, and taken in these lovingly tended plants. *Please* keep this garden fully intact and alive., and save it for all to enjoy! It's the rarest kind of Berkeley blessing, it is high civic service at its best, and it *truly* is irreplaceable.

Wally Gorrell's garden has been an oasis for many and a delight to ALL who have walked by and experienced the joy of its abundance, beauty and fragrances! It would be CRIMINAL to destroy for reasons that are unnecessary for the painting of the duplex that it adorns. SAVE THE GARDEN!

Wallace Gorell's garden is is a Berkeley Treasure that must be protected from any harm or damage. A Master Gardener, Mr. Gorell has lovingly created this botanical splendor over decades. He planted fragrant flowers so that people stopping to enjoy the fragrance have time to revel in the resplendent beauty of the plants. This garden is really Mr. Gorell's generous heart made manifest.
