K&S should be thanking Wally for his beautiful garden. It makes the building and neighborhood so much more beautiful, and a real oasis. Shame on K&S!

This gorgeous garden is one of those botanical wonderlands that makes Berkeley Berkeley. Property owners paint buildings all the time without destroying neighborhood-enhancing (and property-value-enhancing) mature landscaping. K&S are landlords engaging in bullying a tenant.

K&S would shamefully remove this unique botanical treasure and denigrate the character of this otherwise lush, well cared for neighborhood? Apparently a misguided attempt to confirm the property to a boring suburban aesthetic with no species diversity. Not to mention the insult against Wyn's careful stewardship of this place. Stop the cut!!

This long time tenant has only improved the value of this property at 2403 Virginia Street. There isn't anything planted within this garden that has any threatening elements to the house, foundation, or fencing. Quite the reverse, it is a long time treasured and respected attribute in the community.
Please stop unacceptable action against the thriving, living entity this garden, as well as stopping this action against the resident.

This action against the garden at 2403 Virginia is unacceptable. This garden has existed for the last 40 years and has been a true gem for all of Berkeley to see and to enjoy. The resident is a horticukturalist, well versed in plant care and home care regarding gardens.
Please stop this ridiculous action against the resident.
Thank-you.

I lived around the corner from Wally for 33 years. His garden remains one of the most special things about this north berkeley neighborhood. Is it not possible to work together? Nature, Culture and Human beings are interdependent on one another. It would be a beautiful gesture to embrace and return the very fine care Wally has shown all these many years to teach us about plants. It's the paramount reason we choose to live in a community like Berkeley, to be in touch with genuinely thoughtful and caring souls who make the world a better place. Please do not hurt these plants he's cared for all these years. Work together peacefully-- start your own garden and care for others.

Wynn's garden improves the neighborhood and is a delight to behold. Cutting it back would be criminal - like taking a chainsaw to an Arboretum. I urge you to leave the gardens at this property as they are!

I'm a neighbor - I moved in here because of the garden!
Why now?
