Ms. Mac inspires me everyday whenever I saw her. Her confidence, motivation, life lessons, and joy really impacted on how I look at what I'm surrounded with everyday! She really made me more confident in myself and really inspired me in appreciating each day i have. She's literally there for all her students, by their side to help them in what they're going through in life. People don't understand that she truly wants to help you, to be a better person everyday (as days.. years go on..)! Not only in improving your writing in English class but in your days or life itself! Shes that person who isn't afraid to tell you the truth no matter if it's pretty or not or the truth on the reality of things. We all need that person that doesn't sugarcoat everything. To have such a kindhearted and caring teacher like her go is deeply saddening, not only to me but to my peers around me. When honestly, they're teachers who dont even care about the lives of their students or even their own job and are still teaching today.

I have never met a teacher more passionate about her students. This woman has taught me more about life than most teachers have. I have been more than thankful grateful to have her as a teacher.

I can relate, I had a similar situation in highschool. Great teacher/mentor/asset to the highschool and she was let go. Unfortunate for many students.

Instead of teaching our children to be part of a system, we should teach them real life scenarios that they can actually use. To be institutionalized is to be a slave, a robot! Be free!

Her class was the only class I ever looked forward to attending. At first I was nervous because alot of people started rumors about her but when I actually experienced her class I fell in love! She was always so energetic and friendly and taught you the real life lessons! There is no way she should lose her job, she rocks and she is one of the realest and most inspiring teachers in Auburn High!

I never went to auburn high school, but as Christina's boyfriend she ALWAYS talked highly of ms. Mac, and anyone who makes christina happy and understand things better deserves to keep their job. Like I said I never had her as a teacher but she definitely does NOT deserve to lose her job!

My favorite teacher, ever! She taught me so much about life and to always strive for excellence and nothing less. She cultivated my love for writing which has now become a very relaxing, therapeutic thing for me. AHS is screwing up BIG TIME if they move forward with terminating her tenure. There are plenty of teachers who had turned a blind eye when they witnessed bullying/harassment in the hallways, NEVER Ms. Mac. She didn't tolerate that whatsoever, neither will the real world! AHS should be HIRING more people like her.
