Can't believe this is even in question? Mrs. Phillips is one of the most caring and empathetic teachers North has ever seen. She's patient with her students and forms bonds beyond the average teacher and it makes students *want* to learn. She is the embodiment of the word "kind." She is always welcoming and gives students a safe space you can't find anywhere else in the school *and* emphasizes learning in her classroom. She helps adapt to students' different learning types and abilities but still keeps the courses challenging and that is RARE. She actually cares and she actually shows it, but she doesn't make it a free ride. She's rightfully stern when it comes to her class assignments, but she offers the warmth and enthusiasm that not only encourages students to learn more in her class, but allows them to feel safe approaching her with almost any issue. What more could you want in a teacher?

Mrs. Phillips was my Animal companion teacher freshman year, I am currently a Junior and I can't tell you how amazing, encouraging and emapthetic person she is, she has helped me not only academically but mentally and emotionally. She has one of the most sweetest, generous and kindest heart I personally think in the school. She has worked so hard to do her best for all of her students while taking care of her ILL little girl at home. I support that she should not be let go!

There are so many things wrong with the principals decision.
Mrs. Phillips is pure talent. She is an amazing human being. Never before have I ever met someone with such conpassion, strength, intellect, and love. She has taught horticulture, CAB, and floral. She helps students petition for the well-being of animals, she provides a safe haven for students who are excluded from the student body by opening her door during lunch periods and being personable. She has extraordinary interpersonal skills with our special needs community in school, as well as with students who require extra teaching assistance. She is hard working and enthusiastic. She of all people deserves to be in the teaching body.
Let her stay.

If the students are so passionate about this then the administration needs to hear them.

This is totally unfair, she is a great teacher who doesn't deserve to be fired over an argument about something small.

I never really sign these things but Mrs. Phillips is my girl okay? She is genuinely sweet to everyone & the fact that she's being punished for it is really stupid to me.

Mrs. P is the only teacher that got me through a lot of my struggles at north with out her even knowing them. She has such a huge heart and compassion for each and everyone of her students.
