I know Ashley better than any other person on this earth since I am her mother and I gave birth to her! She was raised to be an intelligent, organized and compassionate person. Here on our farm she learned that every living thing has value and deserves our care and compassion. I am proud to say she has continued to demonstrate these beliefs in her teaching and her life. As a teacher for 33 years, I know that your students love you for your wonderful qualities and your convictions. It is a sad day for NNHS that you will not be returning but you will go on to share your knowledge and talents with others. As the state of Illinois continues to encourage relationship building with our students and helping our students reach their social/emotional goals, you can take comfort in knowing that you are following that strategy in a professional way. Perhaps ms posey needs a refresher seminar in social/emotional support for her students and her staff. Quality leadership as a principal includes compassion and understanding for all!!

I cannot believe this is happening. Mrs. Phillips is one of the few teachers at NNHS that truly wants to see you learn and succeed. She is a very needed ray of sunshine in her students' days.

Signing this petition because I went to high school in Bolingbrook but had lots of friends from north who adore her and never had a bad thing to say about her. No one deserves to lose their job for caring about their students.

Mrs. Phillips was easily one of the best if not the best teacher I had throughout my 4 years at North. I took every class she offered and was a TA for her for two years. She is one of the most amazing and caring people I have ever met and getting rid of her would be one of the worst decisions North could make. Please keep Mrs. Phillips a teacher at North so she can impacts students lives like she impacted mine.

She so kind and compassionate. You could talk to her about anything. We need MORE teachers like her.

Teachers that make a incremental and character differential in student's lives are precious with these positions saved at all cost.

I do not live in your state but I have a daughter who is a teacher. When you have someone who is that dedicated to their students you would do your up most to keep them not to tell them they are on longer needed. The only people you are hurting is her students and future students.

She was one of the teachers I could go to for when I was struggling not only at school but with friends and much more. The staff always tells us to talk to a trusted adult and well she is the one I would go to. If Mr. P. Was still here he wouldn't let this happen...
