I had the pleasure of having Mr. Carnine teach 2 of my 3 children in 6th grade. They both love him and greatly saddened by this accusation. He is one of their favorite teachers. My other child who did not have Mr. Carnine as a teacher spent his lucnh hours in his classroom as he welcomed all students there whether or not the child was a student of his. His classroom is always full at lunch. He is a favorite teacher of many students at Revere and much loved. I hope the district clears his name soon.

This lawsuit is absurd. Mr Carnine is an outstanding human being and awesome teacher. He is being victimized here and the accusatory student/family should be countersued

My daughter had Mr. Carnine last year. He is an incredible teacher who definitely positively influenced her. Thanks to him, she has become extremely interested in the subject of history, and her over all attitude towards school has improved. She absolutely loved and benefitted from his class, and I believe it's unfair that he could lose his job. #savecarnine

I had Mr. Carnine five years ago for 6th grade and he was one of the best teachers I had. I honestly can not imagine him being rascist. Please do not fire him. Paul Revere would be crazy to let go such an amazing teacher.

My daughter had Mr Carnine during 6th grade and she has persistently told us that he was one of the best teachers she has had or will ever have. HIs enthusiam for teaching has inspired so many kids. It is so obvious in all of the previous posts. ALL of them have expressed that he has never said anything racist and/or said anything to disrespect the students. LAUSD should read these posts, especially the wones who were witnesses during that day...ALL were in uniform that he was teaching them about racism, not being racist.

My son was in Mr Carnine's class last year. My son has had many great teacher's before but Mr Carnine has been his favorite. I am sure that the accusations are a complete misunderstanding. As a mother of two young Iranien American former student of Mr. Carnine, we are extremley disappointed in unfunded accusation of a great teacher. we have never felt any racism against my children wile attending his classes.
